When I think of a weekend getaway to Las Vegas, I think of seeing shows, eating at some of the world’s best restaurants, and spending a glam night on the town. Planet Hollywood couldn’t be more conveniently located in the middle of the strip just a stone’s throw from anything you have on your Vegas itinerary.
Here are just a few of the things I loved about staying at Planet Hollywood.
The Rooms
There are so many options for rooms at Planet Hollywood. They offer a variety of room types from pet-friendly rooms to suites with panoramic views of the strip. I loved staying in my suite – there were two closets and a bathroom that was bigger than my apartment with a shower and bathtub.
Food & Drink
There is no need to leave the hotel for great cuisine! The Spice Market Buffet is great if you’re with a group that can’t decide what they want to eat. Koi and Strip House Steakhouse are upscale dining options or head downstairs to Gordon Ramsey Burger or Cafe Hollywood for a quick bite.
Things to Do
Casino
What’s a trip to Las Vegas without a little gambling? Planet Hollywood’s casino is the center of the action. Play a few rounds of BlackJack before heading upstairs to a show or next door for some shopping at the Miracle Mile shops.
Shows
14-year-old me was completely freaking out that Criss Angel is in residency at Planet Hollywood! His show Mindfreak has its own theatre on the mezzanine level and sells out often, so book tickets in advance. If magic’s not your thing, both Gwen Stefani and the Backstreet Boys (!!) tickets are on sale now at the Planet Hollywood Zappos theatre.
Shopping
The Miracle Mile shopping center has over 170 stores for all of your last-minute purchases, souvenirs, or window shopping needs. Walk out of the casino and the shops are right there!
The Staff
I had nothing but an amazing experience with Planet Hollywood from the moment I stepped through the front door. The front desk agents were helpful and welcoming. I had a total grandma moment where I couldn’t find the in-room dining menu and the room service attendant on the phone kindly told me that it was available on the TV (was I born on the prairie or something??) and helped take my order.
If you stay at Planet Hollywood you can expect efficient and friendly service with a smile. Have you booked your reservation yet?

Thank you to Planet Hollywood for hosting me during my stay. As always, thoughts and opinions expressed here are entirely my own.
